Test of Fire

The Test of Fire, also known as the Trial of Fire, is the chance for a novice to become a Fire Mage. All mages of the High Council give the choosen novices (or those novices who know about it and demand it) a test. In Gothic II the tests given to the hero are:

- To destroy "The living rock" - Follow the "Path of true belivers" - Create a fire arrow rune.

Only ONE novice can manage to do the test, he will join the Order of Fire. Every new member of this special community can have a request, which the council must try to fulfill. The last one who succeed was Serpentes, member of the High Council, a young and talented mage.
