There are very few records about Sendar. It is known that it was was a military outpost, and it was located in the "northern plains", as Milten, who was a former soldier that was defending the fort, stated.

As it can be seen in the picture on the right, the fort had a rather weak defense wall: a wooden palisade, showing that it probably wasn't a very big or important military building. Again, by looking at the picture, it most probably was located in the "northern plains" of Myrtana, judging by the green grass around the settlement.

The small fort lasted until the second war between the humans and the Orcs, two years before the destruction of the Barrier of the Valley of Mines, when it was attacked and overrun by the Orcs. Then it most probably was destroyed, rather than conquered, since there is no trace of it left on the mainland.
