The Ring of Water is an organization that assists the Circle of Water in a similar manner the paladins assist the Fire Mages.

However, they are much more secretive, with a confidential list of members who never act directly or make themselves known, which includes not wearing their armor in public places, where they can be noticed easily.

They wear armors of a design dating back to times from before the Second Orc War, composed of a lightweight chainmail, dark brown tunic and two plate forearm protectors. For combat, their signature weapon is a pike.

In order to easily recognize other members of the Ring, they wear rings adorned with an aquamarine stone.

Following the Fall of the Barrier, the Khorinis roster of the ring included Orlan, the owner of the Dead Harpy tavern, Martin, the royal quartermaster, Lares, Cavalorn, Cord, Gaan and Baltram.

For one to join the Ring of Water, they must pass two tests. The first being finding out about this faction, since it is very hard to do. The second task is to do a mission a member gives you. When both tasks are finished, the new member is told where to meet his/her new brothers. After the meeting, the new member is given the Quarterstaff of the Ring, the Armor of the Ring and an Aquamarine ring.

Curiously, when a member does a bad thing, or a good thing for the Ring, the other members find it out at an alarmingly fast rate. It is unknown how they do this.
