Role Innos incarnate, archmage of the Circle of Fire
Guild Circle of Fire
Rank Archmage

Following Xardas' imprisonment within the Barrier, Pyrokar, Innos' incarnate, was chosen as the new master of the Khorinis monastery of the Circle of Fire. Pyrokar is an elderly man, respected by fellow novices and mages both for his wisdom and power.

He was the man that asked the Nameless hero to deliver a message to Xardas, whom he thought was still a Fire Mage and was their master in the Old Camp. He thought that despite experiments with the dark arts prior to his imprisonment Xardas remained a loyal follower of Innos. The news devastated him and caused a dramatical shift in his attitude towards the necromancer, possibly because he was his student at a time.

Following the fall of the Barrier, Pyrokar remained the master of the monastery, wary of Xardas and his intentions. As the presence of the dragons in the Valley of Mines was confirmed, he was supposed to provide the nameless with the sacred Eye of Innos, but the amulet was stolen by the mage-to-be Pedro and delivered to the Seekers.

After the hero recovered the amulet, destroyed by the Seekers at the Circle of the Sun, the devastated Pyrokar sends him to Vatras in order to find out if there is a way to restore it's lost power. When Pyrokar is informed that it is indeed possible, but he'd have to cooperate with Xardas, he refuses to do it, on the grounds of Xardas being a necromancer. The Dark Mage convinces the archmage by asking the Hero to return the Halls of Irdorath, a precious ancient book concerning the dark temple of Beliar Xardas took with himself as insurance when he departed to oversee the creation of the Barrier. With such a sign of trust, Pyrokar decided, hesitantly, to cooperate in the ritual.

In addition, Pyrokar helped the nameless hero in finding our just who the Seekers really are, curing the effects of their "dark sight" as well as can teach him the 6th, final Circle of Magic.

Interestingly, just before the Nameless' departure for Irdorath, Pyrokar remembers him from the cliff prior to the Hero's imprisonment in the Barrier and thanks him for his deeds on behalf the Church of Innos.

After the Nameless' departure and the orcs' victory on Khorinis, the fate of Pyrokar is uncertain, but it is safe to assume that he was killed or enslaved.
