Ore Barons

The Ore Barons are a small group of enormously influential people which formed during the Barrier's existence, from the original group of convicts that rebelled against the royal guards and slain them. They were the people who controlled the trade with the outside world and were the only that had a deal with the king, that in exchange for magic ore they'd be provided with anything they desire. Their lifestyle was decadent and extremely luxurious, evident in the highly ornate and protective armours they wore, accompanied with fur pelts.
To protect their interests, the ore barons created the Guard, whose members protected the Old Camp and Old Mine against loose cannons and New Camp rogues. As such, the guardsmen were one of the most feared warriors in the colony. Additionally, the barons allowed the Fire Mages to inhabit the Innos temple of the castle and conduct their research there, in return for advice and magical services to the barons.
During the last days of the Barrier, the barons were led by Gomez, the original leader of the riot, who was assisted by Raven, Arto, Scar and Bartholo.Some of them died during the years in the Colony such as the Guardian of The Focus Stone from the Stonehenge.They were responsible for ordering the invasion of the Free Mine and dissoluted shortly after the fall for the Barrier and arrival of the dragons.
