The Nomads are one of two tribes inhabiting Varant, who were pushed back by the Hashishin in the wake of the orc invasion and quickly were forced to go into hiding, similiarly to rebels.

History

They, along with the Hashishin, are descendant from the original ancient tribes that inhabited Varant and survived the flood Adanos sent to cleanse the lands. While Akascha and his followers left for Nordmar to estabilish a new civilization there, the nomads stayed behind and rebuilt their state.

However, the split in their society came soon, as Zuben claimed the Staff of the Eternal Wanderer and estabilished a new society of the Hashishin. The split quickly worsened and two tribes clashed, all equally strong and unable to defeat the other. The state of prolonged tribal warfare lasted many years, and eventually, the Hashishin managed to defeat the nomads, estabilish their reign and mounting an offensive against Myrtana, led by Lukkor. However, they underestimated the enemy and were outmaneuvered by Lee and Rhobar II, who pushed them back and aided the nomads in reclaiming their power. Unfortunately, this was a temporary state of affairs, as the orc invasion begun and they invaded Varant, aiding the Hashishin to regain their power.

Nomads soon came to the verge of extinction.

However, as the Second Orc War came to a closure, their fate was drastically altered by a nameless hero, who slain Zuben. The loss of the leader caused a gradual dissolution and disappearance of the Hashishin. In response, they moved in to fill the vacuum of power and under the lead of Saturas, begun wandering the desert once again.

Overview
