Colony is the name that the convicts trapped inside the Barrier, gave to the Mining Colony of Khorinis. It is located on the S of Khorinis.

It was king Rhobar II's main source of Magic Ore. To help boost up the Ore production, the king ordered the creation of the Magic Barrier over the Colony so that he'd keep the convicts under control. The Barrier had been enclosing the Colony for a decade.

Shortly after the creation of the Barrier, the convicts took advantage of the Royal Guards' negligence and took over the control of the Colony.

Though the loss of control over the Colony had a huge impact on the king's strategy, he still had no other choice, so he made a trade agreement with the convicts, thus the Colony still remained the main Ore supply of the kingdom.

After ten years of being isolated by the Barrier, the Colony was finally freed by the destruction of the dome, caused by the hero's victory over the Sleeper.
