Monastery of Khorinis

The monastery of Khorinis is located between the mountains and a lake. It is lead by 3 archmages: Pyrokar, Serpentes and Ulthar and is inhabited by other mages and novices of fire. Even though they are living in solitude, they show some sort of interested in the things that happen in Khorinis. The old leader of this monastery was Xardas.
Life in the monastery
Although monastery is one of the most important buildings in Khorinis, life in it goes rather smoothly:Fire Mages are looking after the novices who grow weeds and grapes for the vine they make.Only chosen novices can become Fire Mages:they get such opportunity after long years of studying and hard working.
Inside the monastery
In the centre of monatery's inner yard church(and also a seat of High Council)is located.During the day some novices are saying prayers in it.On the left of main(and only)entrance there are huge library full of ancient writings and books which are researched by mages.On both sides of the monastery rooms of novices are located. The monastery cellar is located to the right. Here one can find the alchemy lab, the larder and the monastery treasury.
The mages
Pyrokar, Serpentes and Ulthar are the 3 high mages in charge of the monastery. Parlan oversees the life in the monastery, greets newcomers and is the one to go to if one committed a crime. Gorax is responsible for the monastery's wine and sells various other products (scrolls, mainly) as well. Marduk is the master of ice and lightning magic. Hyglas knows everything about fire magic. Karras specialises in summoning magic. Neoras dwells in the cellar and can teach one alchemy. Isgaroth is not in the monastery, rather in the shrine outside. He prays all day long and can give you his blessing in addition to selling you some magical items. Daron can be found in the city - he mainly wants donations.
