In the Addon, he is a captain in the pirates camp. You first meet him outside the city gates.

He says he needs to get in with a pass. later, the first time you go to the Dead Harpy Cavern, he asks you to dig up his treasures in various areas in Khorinis. Then, when you make it in Jharkendar, you need the bandit armor. After stealing the key from Francis, and rumble through his hut, he catches you in the act and you had to work for the bandit armor in order to get into the bandits camp.
