![]()
Faring is a mighty town of Myrtana, which is situated in the very north of the Realm, to the north of Gotha, former paladins' stronghold, and to north-west of the besieged capital Vengard, in the gorgeous mountainous area with cascade waterfalls and dense forests. Two of the seven passes to the barbarian Nordmar lie up in the mountains not far from it. The village itself is stretched over the mountain side with the castle of Faring on top of it. Now when the Orcs are sweeping through the land enslaving the humans, Faring is the headquarter of the invaders. Kan the Great, the commander-in-chief of the Orcish armies is sitting tight in the castle of Faring and the passes to Nordmar are sealed and guarded round the clock. Only the local hunters enjoy the right to cross the passes and hunt in Nordmarian lands, providing Orks and village inhabitants with pelts, furs and meat. The most important arena of Myrtana is also situated here, in the castle of Faring. The right to fight in it have only the best fighters in the world, a bunch of those lucky ones, who left alive the greatest arena of the greatest desert - the one in Mora Sul, in Varant. Faring was the last city in Myrtana, to be conquered by the Orcs.
