The Eastern Temple of Beliar is the greatest place of evil in all known world. The strongest, biggest and most influencive of all, this structure is an architectural masterpiece, an evil throne that shakes the earth itself at a mere thought of it.
The term "Eastern Temple of Beliar" has two meanings, mainly because there are two parts of this temple. The main complex is called the Halls of Irdorath, a magnificent structure build inside the mountain massive of island Irdorath. The entrance lies through a secret passage inside the Irdorath caverns, that have been designed into an outpost of the Orcs for surprise-attacking Myrtana from the east. The inner sanctum is not very large, although it might take awhile to get around because of the labyrinthic structure of the temple, that requires great risk if you don't know the right combinations. The temple itself is populated mainly by Skeletons and Seekers as well as a few Shadow Lords, fallen paladins that have been transformed into undead. Those inhabiting the temple do more than just pray to Beliar and think how to destroy the world. Alchemical experiments, ancient texts' studies and even human torture have been widely practised there. The presence of undead orcs and undead paladins, (or shadow lords) mean that both fought there before with little luck for either of them. The Halls of Irdorath is the worshiping holy site of Beliar's avatara, the Undead Dragon. There are currents that believe that this dragon is merely another form of the Sleeper, but since it could not materialize even during 1000 years even with the help of orc shamans, he could not have returned so quickly, even (again) in a different form.
After the second temple of Beliar was razed, the other two vanished. In truth, the island was there, merely surounded by a thick layer of fog that didn't allow ships to manevrate with-out crashing onto the rocks if it had no guidance. Esmeralda was the first ship that survived the passage near the rocky shore of Irdorath and went deeper into the water tunnels.
Another, less common meaning of "Eastern Temple of Beliar" is the Temple of the Sleeper, an underground structure erected by the Orcs a very long time ago, where they summoned, worshiped and unsuccesfully tried to awaken the demonic arch-lord, The Sleeper.
