Cipher is swampweed dealer who spends most of his days drinking in a tavern on the island outside New Camp. In Gothic II, he is to be found on Onar's farm, still being one of Lee's mercenaries. Later on in the game he joins Dragon Hunters and heads to the Valley of Mines, where he, together with Rod, proves himself useful aiding hero in a fight against the army of darkness. His destiny is unknown.
