Chromanin
From World of Gothic

- This article presents information about the Chromanin. For the text found in the six Chromanin books see Chromanin (Writings).
The Chromanin is an ancient object, or spell, storing great amounts of power. It is unknown whether this object is a weapon, or some other kind of artifact, such as an amulet or a ring, or is if it is a spell of some sort.
The Chromanin is not to be confused with the six books with the same title. The books are journals written by the last barer of Chromanin, in which he wrote his thoughts about the Chromanin.
Chromanin's last bearer
The last holder of the Chromanin was a former convict in the Mining Colony of Khorinis. It would seem that the cause of his death had something directly to do with the Chromanin. He was killed by a hoard of undead creatures, which apparently were directly related to the Chromanin and its barer.
Before his death, he wrote five different books in which he wrote his thoughts and feelings about Chromanin. He initially planed a sixth, and last one which he never managed to write, being killed by the undead creatures.
The only information regarding the time of his death, indicates that he died after the collapse of the Abandoned Mine. This is because in his second book, the riddle makes reference to the river under the Abandoned Mine, being separated, the river being divided only after the collapse of the mine (for more information read: Abandoned Mine).
