Cavalorn was a hunter belonging to the
Shadows of the
Old Camp. He lived in the wilderness, in the middle of the path to the
New Camp. He taught people how to use a bow and how to sneak around, as well as he sold bows and arrows. After the
Fall of the Barrier he joined the
Ring of Water. The
Water Mages granted him freedom in exchange for his services. In the beginning the
Hero meets Cavalorn in the Colony and he teaches him to shoot with a bow and sneak. After the Barrier was destroyed the Hero sees him again. Cavalorn remembers him and says: "You are the fellow who was constantly begging arrows from me in the
Valley of Mines". The Hero helps him fight with
Bandits who mugged him and Cavalorn was the first man to tell the Hero about the Ring of Water. Later when the Hero searches for the missing ornaments he meets him on the Stone Circle near
Lobart's farm. Cavalorn tells him that the
paladins took the ornament and that the Hero should take it back from them. When the Hero went to the Valley of Mines he found a bag near Cavalorn's old hut with a few ore lumps. The Hero returns his bag and receives a reward from him. After the Hero leaves for
Myrtana, Cavalorn's fate is unknown.
