A very powerful weapon, forged by Beliar himself. The first historical appearance of the sword is when the mighty warlord Quahodron, the ruler of the city of Jharkendar brought it from a battle outside the walls of the city. But the weapon was cursed. Legend has it that Beliar himself crafted it. Quarhodron's son, Rhademes, was tempted, took the Claw and desecrated the Temple of Adanos. In response, Adanos flooded the city and the Temple was sealed.

Years later, Raven, a former Ore Baron and now Beliar's avatar, desired to take the blade from Rhademes' body and use it to tip the scales of the war in favour of Beliar. He succeeded in traversing traps and defeating ancient guardians, and managed to obtain the weapon. However, he was soon confronted by the nameless hero, who killed him and procured the weapon.

The death of Raven and procurement of the weapon by someone not affiliated with any god has stopped the corruption of the land and natural disasters that were occuring at an alarming rate.

The weapon itself could've been attuned to the hero's ability, becoming either a two handed or one handed sword and grew stronger with him as he progressed in levels. However, the hero resisted the temptation and asked Saturas, leader of the Water Mages to destroy the blade, so that it could never interfere with history again.
